South Carleton currently has two identifying logos
There are MANY organizations that have developed "Storm" logos
The "Crest" is the official logo for the school. The torch and laurel leaves are symbollic, the latin is a motto.
The crest represents the educational institution of SCHS
The "Storm" logo is a less formal logo - meant to convey power and ambition of the students and staff in the school. It represents the spirit of the people who learn and work in SCHS.
Strengths
Concept - the "Thunder God" - conveys power & spirit
Symbolism - Lightning, Motion
Integration of text with symbols - "SC" appears in TWO places
Weaknesses
Text appears "Hand Drawn" - Unfinished
"Storm" is obscured by excess lightning
"Thunder God" character can be misinterpreted
Exercise03
